Affordable Whimsical Easter Decor
I love holiday decor. It's so fun adding in new decor for the seasons and having something new to look at! It's so fun getting into the spirit of the holiday and how else by adding in some Easter decor! But for me I like to shop super budget friendly for the different holidays so I'll look around first at different stores, online and thrift shops before buying. Here I'll share some of my affordable decor and share where everything is from so maybe you can find some budget friendly Easter decor, too! All in all I spent around $20 to decorate this bookshelf!
This is my first year decorating for Easter. I'm not really sure why I never decorated for Easter but I really wanted to this year so I decided to keep it simple and cheap. Growing up my mom always put up her Easter egg tree. It had eggs, chicks and bunnies on it. They were wooden ornaments and oh so very beautiful and whimsical! I wanted to have something similar but I didn't want to buy one. For the past few holidays I've been decorating these branches (snowflakes in winter, hearts for Valentine's Day) and decided to just use it for Easter as well! I got these branches from my yard (free - Score!), I got the vase from Goodwill, and the eggs were a couple bucks from Hobby Lobby!
Then I wanted to decorate the bookshelf the egg tree is on. So I checked out Walmart and found these wooden signs, some yellow flowers with eggs and even a glittery green bunny! Everything was under $5 a piece and I was very happy about that! Do you decorate for Easter?
